You dont need to actually submit layouts that you make as a request. you can upload it to somewhere else and PM the requester.

Try changing the line-height as well. Other than that, I don't really know what could be causing that space to appear.

Change the "height:50px;" to a lower number, like 20, or 15. Then the gap should be smaller.

lol that's actually what i started to write to you in a message... but yeah... that could be it. to be honest, i don't mess around with standard layouts too much, so i'm not good at fixing problems with them.

yeah, i'm actually not sure you can center everything for every screen resolution.
it has never worked for me.
i always center just for 1024 x 768, because when i try to center several DIV overlays for all resolutions, the DIVs become mialigned in relation to the layout.
I'd rather have the content in the right place, and the whole thing shifted slightly, than have everything all messed up. lol

try posting the question in the support forums, and if someone answers, let me know, because i'm curious too.

i played around with your code for a few minutes, but i seriously need to be finishing some homework right now.

Because of the new coding in myspace, when you use scripts to hide stuff and then only type in http://myspace.com/xxxxxx, the Ad sometimes dissapears. you have to type in www.myspace.com/xxxxxx :)
